Reinstall Cortana in Windows 10

Op het moment dat Cortana in Windows 10 niet meer functioneert, is het lastig om applicaties te zoeken. Je krijgt uitsluitend web en windows store zoekresulaten te zien.
Om de functionaliteit terug te krijgen, kun je Cortana opnieuw installeren:

  • Start de Command Prompt met behulp van de toetscombinatie Window + X. Druk daarna op de toets A. De command prompt wordt opgestart en C:\Windows\system32> is zichtbaar.

  • Type nu Powershell en druk op enter. De Powershell prompt wordt nu opgestart en PS C:\Windows\system32> is zichtbaar.

  • Start nu het commando Get-AppXPackage -Name Microsoft.Windows.Cortana | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}. Cortana wordt opnieuw geinstalleerd.

De Cortana functionaliteit zou nu weer beschikbaar moeten zijn.
